John Krasinski - Done Horror. Now Doing Sci Fi

Striking while the iron of A Quiet Place is still piping hot, John Krasinski has announced his next directorial effort will be Life On Mars. Not an reworking of the John Simm-Phillip Glenister time-bending cop show, but an adaptation of a short story by Cecil Castellucci titled We Have Always Lived On Mars, which concerns a woman who has grown up on Mars in a long abandoned Earth colony who suddenly discovers she can breathe the air on the Red Planet. (Emily Blunt is waiting to read the script.) Knowing a good thing when they see its box office takings, Krasinski is reteaming with his A Quiet Place producers Michael Bay, Andrew Form ad Brad Fuller.
