The Eddies Get In On The Action

The American Cinema Editors’ Eddie Awards are often seen as a decent forecaster of what to expect come Oscar night. And the good news to be gleaned from this year's list of nominations is that Blade Runner 2049 is back in the running, and the bad news is they think Three Billboards is a comedy! (True, it has some great funny moments – but a comedy? We think not.)

Elsewhere, Dunkirk and The Post’s placings confirm their relative favoured status, with Lady Bird and Jane still going strong.
