Get Thee To A Nunnery, Ridley

Daisy Ridley parlays her Star Wars success into a unique take on one of Shakespeare’s most tragic heroines in Ophelia, adapted from the best-seller by Lisa Klein. She’s the troubled damsel dealing with the antic disposition of George Mackay’s Hamlet, and the internecine treacheries of Naomi Watts’ Queen Gertrude, and Clive Owen’s Claudius.

May be a revisionist take, but we can’t see it ending well for Ophelia. Or anyone, really.

Ophelia opens June 28
