Best News Of The Week - The Fonz Comes To Andersonville
Once the coolest man on earth (“Aayyyy!!!”), a sometimes muse of Adam Sandler, a noted childrens’ author, and most recently a Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor (Barry), the great Henry Winkler has once again brought more than a smile to our faces this morning with the news that he is to step into the highly symmetrical and delineated world of Wes Anderson. Although little remains known of Anderson’s currently lensing The French Dispatch, he-who-was-once-Fonzie is joining a cast that includes such Anderson regulars as Billy Murray (obvs), Frances McDormand, Bob Balaban, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody and Tilda Swinton. Winkler joins fellow newcomers Timothee Chalamet and Benicio Del Toro. Here’s hoping Wes makes him a permanent part of the Anderson Repertory Company.
The French Dispatch opens later this year.
