Song Of The Week - Paul Shaffer & Bill Murray - Happy Street

Paul Shaffer and Bill Murray have been collaborating together since way back in the days of SNL’s first glory run, right up to Netflix’ recent A Very Murray Christmas. After many years backing up David Letterman in late night, Shaffer is about to release his first record in nearly three decades. Shaffer (the man who was Artie Fufkin) and The Most Dangerous Band In The World have just unveiled their first single – Happy Street featuring Mr Murray, which comes complete with a delightful animated video awash with in-jokes. So watch out for Letterman cameoing on a background TV, Venkman and Son’s Pharmacy, reworked posters for Stripes and Scrooged, a chalk appearance by Steve Zissou and several more to be found on repeat viewing. The album, Paul Shaffer and The Most Dangerous Band In The World, drops March 17 and this first taster is sweet.
