It Ain't Over Till The Young Lady Sings? Well, She's Sung Already

Ain’t no stopping it now – as if there ever was. Over the weekend La La Land has become even more of a dead cert for Oscar glory picking up the hugely precursor-y Eddie editors guild award for Best Feature Comedy(Arrival took drama) whilst the Producers Guild of America last night eschewed such genre categorisation and just handed it Best Picture. The lengthy O.J. Made In America took top Doc honours at both ceremonies, as did Zootopia/Zootropolis in the animation category.

Suddenly, Oscar night is looking like a very dull surprise-free evening all round. All that needs to be decided is who makes the best Trump gag.

The Oscars take place on Sunday Feb 26
