La La Wins

La La Land continued its run by being named Best Film of the year by the New York Film Critics. However it is still not exactly a landslide – hot on its heels are Barry Jenkins picking up Best Director for Moonlight, and Manchester By The Sea continuing its lock on Best Actor for Casey Affleck and Screenplay for Kenneth Lonergan. Is Isabelle Huppert going to mess things up for Emma Stone though? Good to see the brilliant Edge of Seventeen getting noticed as well.
